Terminus was the Roman god of boundaries, marked by a simple stone. When the Capitol was rebuilt every deity agreed to relocate except him, who refused. The Romans took it as a good omen. A single branch reaches across the air from a low white pot. Whatever it has decided, it will not be persuaded.
