She who stands at the crossroads and knows both roads.

Hecate presided over thresholds and crossings, the spaces where one place meets the next. She knew the geometry of where things meet. Six pale heads rise on long mossy stems above a three-footed dish. Each one is a small intersection. The composition is verticals and crossings, formal and even.
