Musubi is a Shinto concept describing the generative force that connects, creates, binds. It is in the joining of materials, in the assembly of found things into something coherent. A green topiary stands on a live-edge platter above a small landscape of moss and dried blooms. The composition is vertical and horizontal at once, a tree set inside its own field. Musubi made visible.
